SMS Verification Consent

How customers opt in

Customers enter their mobile number in the ArakanRemit app during sign-up or phone verification. Below the number field is a consent checkbox that is unticked by default. The customer must tick it before the "Send Code" button works. Only then do we send one text message with a one-time verification code. We send one message per verification request; message frequency varies. We send verification codes only — no marketing.

The 6-digit code changes with every request.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from ArakanRemit. Reply HELP for help, or email support@arakanremitapp.com. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
